Make this lovely dress for the little lady in your life.

You can keep it simple using a single fabric,use a fabric with a border print to go around the hem or make the bodice and skirt in different complementary or contrasting colours/patterns.

This project covers gathering to attach the skirt,lining the bodice and you will learn how to insert a concealed zip to fasten it.

Once you have mastered this basic shape there are many variations such as collars and neckline shapes you can use to create different styles.

SKILL LEVEL:Confident beginners onwards.You don't need to have put a zip in before but you do need some sewing experience as there are a lot of processes to fit in to the class. 

REQUIREMENTS: The pattern is included ages 2-10 years are currently available. You will need 1-1.5 Metres of a non stretch fabric of your choice.Cotton prints are perfect for this style of dress or for a more winter weight garment you could use a wool or corduroy
