Applique Workshop

A wonderful way to add detail from simple shapes to intricate designs. Appliqué is a great way to use up those little fabric scraps and a good reason to justify keeping them, at least it’s our excuse!

In this class we will cover basic principles of machine and hand appliqué techniques and create an array of lovely samples.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginners onwards. You just need to be comfortable using a sewing machine.

REQUIREMENTS: There will be assorted fabrics and threads etc provided to play with.

If there’s something you have in mind to appliqué bring it along with your design ideas, as well as any of your own bits of fabric and matching threads you think you will want.
