Drawstring Bag

The drawstring bag has so many potential uses.Great for storage,P.E. kits or for keeping shoes or laundry separate from your clothes in your gym bag or luggage.

Once you know how to make the drawstring bag you can make it in any size you need.

In this class we will be using French and Flat Felled Seams to create a hard wearing and beautifully constructed bag large enough to hold a pair of shoes. This is a perfect opportunity to practise these more couture seam finishes before moving on to more complicated projects.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS: This project has been devised so it can be made using just one fat quarter of fabric so bring a fat quarter or half a metre of fabric will be plenty.Fabrics are available to purchase at the sewing school.

As an alternative the Present Sack offers a simpler drawstring bag construction.
